Climbing Trip to Sogndal

Join us on a trip to Sogndal. We are going on a multi-day trip to Kvam, one of Norway's largest sport climbing areas. Outdoor experience is required! You cannot join the trip if you do not have a lead climbing certificate!

Kvam has a wide variety of grades. (Also some trad routes.) Please check out https://www.thecrag.com/en/climbing/norway/western-norway/area/727725798 and/or https://heihaaklatring.blogspot.com/p/kvam.html to see whether there are routes for your level. 

We plan to meet on Wednesday morning at 8am at Athletica Blindern and drive together to Sogndal. We'll stay until Sunday June 23rd 5pm and then drive back together to Oslo. 

OSI Klatring can provide equipment if necessary. But please bring your own if you have it so we can open the trip to as many people as possible!

Important info:

To join the trip we require that you:

• Have a belayer's certificate and know how to belay outdoors.
• Understand that climbing outside is intrinsically a risky activity, and that this happens on your own discretion and responsibility.
• Have experience climbing outside, we do not provide instructors.
• That you contribute to the social environment and to common tasks like doing the dishes etc.

Price:

The price for the trip is an estimate. It includes accommodation, transportation, and common dinners. Bring your own breakfast, lunch, and snacks.  

1500 NOK for members 

750 NOK for members with a car

The registration form opens June 11th at 2 pm. 

Remember that your registration does not count if you sign up before 2 pm.
